The brush itself is made from FSC certified organic bamboo. The bristles are made from castor oil. The award-winning Tiny Truthbrush for children is a perfectly scaled down version of the adult toothbrush, with soft plant-based bristles & finished with plant oil for a smooth feel and water resistance.

Castor oil bristles are a bioplastic, but made without fossil fuels as typical plastic is. We will continue to look for 100% plastic free, ethical toothbrushes that are also effective. As the rest of the brush is plastic free, it is still much more sustainable than any mainstream toothbrush.

Brush care: Use minimum pressure, do not chew or bite. Rinse toothbrush before and after use, air dry. Children should be supervised whilst brushing.
Materials: FSC certified organic bamboo toothbrush, castor oil bristles.
Packaging and disposal: Packaging recyclable cardboard box. Toothbrush handle can be home composted but please snap off the head before doing so. Once the head is snapped off, the toothbrush handle can go in with green garden waste, into wood recycling or be reused as a plant marker or similar.
The bristles can be extracted for recycling if your local centres takes it or through Terracycle.
